- Ideal for Fire Departments and Construction Sites.
- The Responder portable davit boasts stainless steel
and D.O.M. Construction. While laboratory tested to
a much higher amount, we've assigned a rated
capacity of 400 lbs / 181 Kg.
- It provides a portable anchor point for the CDD and
the Boom gives the user some distance away from
building. This provides minimal drag against the
building, if any.
- Time to deploy (without practice)-- under 4 minutes
- Rated height is up to 1000 ft.
- Unit can be stored in hard or soft case (optional)
- The Responder is shown with our patented Evac-
Suits. The suits are made of a para-aramid fiber that
reflect 95% of radiant heat and is four times stronger
than steel.
- The system comes standard with the CDD and straps
at both ends.
- Mounting any system permanently makes it the safer
option. This system bolts to the building with only 3
1/2" anchors and only the bracket is permanent.
- Ideal for Condos, Office Buildings, Nursing Homes,
Hospitals and Government buildings. One system on
the 10th floor can safely evacuate 30 people in 8
minutes. This can be done for an average price of $97
per life!
- The Guardian provides an extension away from the
building of 34 inches. At nearly 3 feet the user has
little opportunity to drag or bump along the building
during the descent to safety.
- The wall brackets can be installed at various locations
inexpensively. This would allow relocation of the
system should changing conditions warrant. An entire
building can be Pre-Planned for emergency evacuation
by placing this system on each floor.
- The Responder 2 is similar to the Responder 1 but
has an additional extension arm. It is ideal for the
Fire Service and construction sites as it can safely
lower 2 people at once to maximum safe rating of 800
lbs / 362 kg.
- One system on the 10th floor can evacuate 30 people in 4
minutes and 15 seconds. For an average price of $161 per
life.
- The portable davit is adjustable from 4 to 6ft. to set
up inside a window opening and 8 to 10ft. for normal
ceiling heights.
- In actual operation, the "booms" could be extended
through the window opening or off of the balcony.
- Training programs are available for group
applications.
- System comes standard with 2 CDD's with straps at
each end. The system is shown with four Evac-Suits.

Aerial Rescue Pack
The Aerial Rescue Pack travels on the Ladder Truck and mounts on the platform or ladder extension using a
caribeaner or webbing harness. Firefighters use the system to safely and AUTOMATICALLY create a
lifeline to lower victims or themselves. They can utilize our protective suit
or any harness while eliminating the need to raise and lower the platform
for each rescue. Constantly providing a safe
way out should the ladder fail.
"a system like the Responder should be standard
equipment in high rises everywhere, especially in
buildings more than ten years old."
The Solutions
Escape Pack
Each of our systems are based around the Escape Pack.
- The Controlled Descent Device (CDD) utilizes a
caribeaner to attach to a permanent anchor point.
- This anchor point can be either permanent or on one of
our portable systems.
- Theres a strap at each end of the cable that is
permanently attached.
- This strap goes around your body and fits snug
underneath the users shoulders.
- The user then releases the spool of cable over the
balcony or out the window.
- As the user climbs out and begins to descend, the strap
at the other end of the cable raises for the next user.
- This sequence repeats until all trapped occupants have
been evacuated.
- The CDD comes in a 3 foot or 6 foot per second model.
